Tongue-tie is a common condition where a thin membrane under the tongue joins the tongue to the floor of the mouth more than it should do.
It's very common and easily fixed, so don't worry. Research suggests that approximately 1 in 10 babies are born with tongue tie and many of these suffer with reduced tongue function, making breast or bottle feeding difficult.

It affects both mother and baby...so if you're feeling low and you have a grumpy baby to boot, don't lose heart, help is at hand.
